How It Works

Getting started

Once you have paid for your course using the secure e-payment (WorldPay) facility, you will be directed back to the Waste Training Services site from where you can commence your e-learning training immediately.

  • Go to My Training and select My Orders, then
  • Against your purchase click the Training button
  • You can then start your course by selecting Begin

What can I expect?

Below is a list of steps involved with our E-Learning courses:

  • Narrated videos take you through the training step by step, much like face to face training sessions.
  • You can pause or rewind the videos for revision or clarification.
  • FactSheets are yours to keep and make excellent reference documents for the future.
  • Multiple choice questions test your understanding of the subject material.

All our e-learning courses are intended to give a good overview on each specific topic covered and if further information is required we can be contacted in order that this can be addressed.

The training takes the form of tutorial videos (with sound) that you can follow on screen, plus guidance FactSheets which you can download, save and print. It is recommended that fact sheets are downloaded and printed prior to watching the videos and that pen and paper are kept handy in order that notes can be taken.

When you have finished the course, you will be asked to complete a set of simple multiple choice questions to test your understanding of the subject material. If you don't pass first time you can go back and watch the training video again until you do.

Once you have answered the questions correctly, you will be sent a certificate of course completion via email. This will take the form of a .pdf file that you can print at your local printer.
